Job Description

As a Developer Relations Engineer at Voltage, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our products, customers, and the developer community. You will be responsible for advocating for our products and services, providing technical support, creating engaging and educational content, and helping developers succeed in using our products effectively. You will be the face of our company to developers, ensuring their needs are met and their feedback is heard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Advocacy: Be the technical expert on our products and services, representing them at conferences, meetups, and developer events.
  • Developer Support: Provide technical guidance and support to developers, helping them troubleshoot issues and optimize their use of our products.
  • Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the developer community within our organization, gathering feedback and insights to influence product development.
  • Documentation: Help to create and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and sample code to help developers understand and use our products effectively.
  • Training and Workshops: Organize and conduct training sessions, webinars, and workshops to educate developers about our technologies.
  • Community Building: Build and nurture a strong developer community around our products through online forums, social media, and other channels.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to align developer needs with product roadmap and marketing strategies.
  • Technical Content: Create blog posts, videos, and other technical content to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our technologies.
  • Feedback Analysis: Analyze developer feedback and usage data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and new opportunities.

Who You Are

  • You have experience with and a working knowledge of LND.
  • You have at least 2 years of designated software development experience.
  • You are excited about the opportunity to be the face of Voltage to the developer community and to help shape the future of our products through developer feedback and advocacy.
  • You are passionate about and have a deep understanding of developer ecosystems.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with developers on a technical level.
  • You are a problem solver and enjoy helping others overcome technical challenges.
  • You have a track record of building strong relationships with developers and communities.
  • You are a natural collaborator and can work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • You have a knack for simplifying complex technical concepts and can create compelling technical content.
  • You are organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
