The Team
Kraken’s Acquisition Group consists of several teams responsible for driving more, higher quality sign ups to Kraken’s multiple products. As a leader of this group, you will own/co-own key metrics around our Kraken.com logged out website, traffic, and sign up conversion rate. In this role, you will also be expected to be an individual contributor, willing to step in and Product Manage teams directly as is needed. As a key member of the Growth organization, you will need to bring a Growth mindset to the team – thinking in hypotheses and operating at a velocity that enables us to test, learn, and optimize across multiple products with a complex web of stakeholders.
The Opportunity
- Lead our Acquire group with 3 cross-functional teams responsible for CRO, SEO, our Logged Out Website, and New Channels.
- Directly Product Manage one team as we expand into new channels/strategies.
- Design and execute a strategy for how to grow traffic to our website, as well as, drive sign up conversions at a higher rate.
- Be a champion of experimentation- leading by example, running tons of experiments and iterating to increase our chances of making an even bigger impact.
- Live and breathe our client data to understand user behaviors, extract insights, and build better hypotheses.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product acquisition and marketing.
Skills You Should HODL
- Minimum 7+ years of product management experience, including time as both an individual contributor Product Manager and a People Manager.
- Experience working in growth teams for companies at scale (over 1M clients).
- Experience working with Marketing teams directly.
- Expertise in new client growth – experience with Websites, SEO, CRO, Adtech a plus.
- Experience in data gathering, quantitative analysis, and the ability to translate these into actionable strategies.
- Love for AB testing and experimentation.
- Proactive mindset, always looking for innovative, yet simple solutions to complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in interacting and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational abilities with the skill to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Deep understanding of project management principles and best practices.
- Passionate about the Crypto space.
