The Team
We seek a highly motivated, intellectually curious Frontend Engineer I to join our growing CF Benchmarks team. You will play a key role developing both our internal tools, targeted at empowering our colleagues, and external facing websites, responsible for our online presence and image among institutional investors and broader audiences. The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience building public websites that work in tandem with various marketing efforts, and internal tools that leverage REST APIs, live data via websockets, deal with VERY precise data and provide EXCELLENT security against human errors. This exciting opportunity demands a good feel for user experience, desire to learn and adapt fast, exceptional communication, and genuine passion for the fast-paced cryptocurrency world. The Opportunity
- Maintain and develop existing front-end systems encompassing both external facing and internal user only functions
- Transform user requirements into working and maintainable frontend systems using React and Next.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, to ensure seamless integration of new features and improvements
- Keep abreast of new technologies and approaches to best serve strategic goals of the firm
Skills You Should HODL
- 2+ years of web application focused developer experience in a technology company
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React and RESTful API design
- Understanding of web development architecture and design patterns, ability to implement maintainable and scalable web applications
- Experience of working with different with software development processes, ability to follow best practices and standards
- Intellectual curiosity and deep interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain along with some familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Aptitude and attitude for learning new technologies
- Able to work in a team environment whilst benefitting from great autonomy
- Self- starting, ambitious, and motivated by the opportunity to define an emerging asset class
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
