The Team
xStocks is Payward’s tokenized equities framework, where every token is backed 1:1 by the underlying share held in custody by a regulated entity, giving investors direct financial exposure to publicly traded companies. Since launching, xStocks have surpassed $25 billion in total transaction volume across blockchain ecosystems.
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own xStocks’ global presence. This is primarily a B2B role — building xStocks’ brand credibility, shaping its narrative, and making it the definitive voice for tokenized equities across exchanges, DeFi protocols, chains, and institutional partners. The other side of the role is community; engaging and growing the base of users and holders who believe in what xStocks is building.

The Opportunity
- Own xStocks’ social presence across X and Linkedin as primary channels, building credibility and visibility with partners, exchanges, DeFi protocols, and institutional audiences
- Build and run automations and systems that keep xStocks reactive to market events (quarterly earnings, macro moves, DeFi developments) so the brand is always part of the conversation at the right moment
- Drive proactive, end-to-end partnership content; from pre-launch planning through execution, building co-marketing programs that help partners succeed alongside xStocks and keep them invested in the RWA narrative
- Develop sustainable, sequenced content strategies that extend campaign life and maximize impact across the full product roadmap
- Turn complex topics — tokenized equities, onchain markets, DeFi mechanics — into content that is clear, compelling, and shareable for both crypto-native and institutional audiences
- Lead social go-to-market for product and partner launches, owning the full process from idea through execution
- Build and manage a high-signal community through campaigns, participation loops, and conversations that drive real engagement and retention
- Own your performance metrics with a focus on outcomes and business impact, not vanity metrics
What You Bring
- 5+ years in social media and community management, with a strong background in finance, fintech, or crypto — B2B or institutional experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of building brand credibility in a B2B context; you understand how to speak to exchanges, protocols, and institutional partners, not just retail audiences
- Deep fluency in X and Linkedin, you understand what performs, why, and how to engineer it
- Hands-on experience building automations and content systems
- Strong grasp of DeFi mechanics and the ability to translate them into content that resonates
- Experienced working with external partners on co-marketing; proactive about bringing partners into campaigns and building relationships that compound over time
- Exceptional content creation skills end-to-end; sharp writing and the instinct to know what will land (Figma proficiency a plus)
- Data-driven with a focus on measuring outcomes and business impact, not reach and impressions
- Proficient with AI tools for content ideation, production, and workflow efficiency; uses AI as leverage, not a crutch
- Self-directed and accountable; you build the system, own the calendar, and drive results without being chased
- Genuinely plugged into crypto and financial markets — you’re reacting to quarterly earnings before anyone briefs you on them
