At Kraken, our Performance Team is at the heart of our marketing efforts, dedicated to driving user acquisition and accelerating growth. We specialise in data-driven marketing strategies to achieve efficient CAC and ROI.

Our team takes a collaborative approach, working hand-in-hand with analytics, product, and design teams to create and execute an effective marketing strategy. We obsess over CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), underlying metrics such as CPSU (Cost Per Sign-Up), CPM (Cost Per Mille) and CPC (Cost Per Click) and the underlying drivers of each.

The Opportunity

  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of Kraken’s app campaigns focused on user acquisition and growth.
  • Optimize app campaigns to achieve CAC goals across our priority geographies and customer segments.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness, providing detailed analysis and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Effectively manage a multi-million dollar performance marketing budget for app campaign platforms.
  • Develop and test new creative strategies to consistently improve performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analytics, product marketing, and creative teams, to align on campaign goals and strategies.
  • Manage multiple work streams from concept through execution and analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with new and emerging app campaign channels, ensuring Kraken’s performance marketing efforts leverage the latest trends and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and other external partners.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills You Should HODL

  • 5+ years of related experience in performance marketing with a focus on app campaigns.
  • Experience managing and optimizing app acquisition campaigns to meet or exceed KPI targets, including CAC, CPSU, and CPI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • A test-and-learn mindset with a passion for experimentation.
  • Proficiency with mobile app advertising platforms including UAC, Mobile App DSPs, ASA, and other app-focused platforms.
  • Experience with mobile measurement partners (MMPs) such as Appsflyer or Branch.
  • Familiarity with analytics and data visualization platforms such as Google Analytics and Tableau.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and other external partners.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter; able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience in consumer tech products with a focus on transactional goals is crucial.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the ability to optimize campaigns beyond the initial install or sign-up.
  • Passionate about the Crypto space.
