Fedi - Mini-Apps Lead — Trammell Venture Partners

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Mini-Apps Lead to bring powerful digital experiences into the hands of every user on Fedi. Mini-Apps are where the magic happens: they enable real-world use cases, local innovation, and entirely new business models. Your mission is to grow the Mini-Apps ecosystem into one of the most exciting and valuable parts of Fedi.

Turn Mini-Apps into a thriving platform. You’ll source, vet, launch, and scale a portfolio of high-value apps—local and global—that delight users and create durable network effects. You’re the DRI for ecosystem health: developer experience, partner success, in-app discovery, quality, and growth.

You’re a senior operator who can do BD and partnerships in the morning, run a developer program at lunch, and ship a GTM with Marketing by dinner. You speak product with engineers, negotiate win-win terms with founders, and you live in the metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Mini-App Ecosystem Growth

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of Mini-App partners: local, regional, and global.
Identify strategic gaps and opportunities for new Mini-App categories and capabilities.

Partner & Builder Engagement

Work with builders, startups, and companies to bring new Mini-Apps into Fedi.
Design and implement programs that incentivize developers to build, integrate, and grow with Fedi.

Visibility & Adoption

With Marketing & Community, drive in-app discovery, collections, spotlights, and local campaigns.
Coordinate with regional “hands and feet” to ensure relevance and success within federations.

Product & Integration Support

Work with Product/Engineering to streamline Mini-App onboarding, testing, and maintenance.
Advocate for improvements to Mini-App discovery, UX, and performance.

Local & Regional Strategy

Partner with Masters and regional teams to activate local Mini-App needs and solutions.
Ensure Mini-Apps are usable and effective for their target regions and audiences.

Quality & Reliability

Evaluate new Mini-Apps for value, security, and usability before launch.
Monitor performance and resolve issues quickly with partners and internal teams.

Reporting & Insight

Track KPIs on adoption, engagement, and revenue contribution.
Provide actionable insights to keep the ecosystem healthy and thriving.

Requirements

6+ years in BD/product partnerships/marketplace or platform growth; 3–4+ years in fintech/Bitcoin/crypto/digital platforms/community tech.
Proven DRI for launching/scaling a partner or developer ecosystem.
Comfortable with web/app integrations, SDKs/APIs, and technical acceptance criteria (you don’t need to code, but you can read a spec).
Strong negotiation and commercial modeling (rev-share, tiers, incentives).
Analytical operator: pipeline rigor, forecasts, dashboards, and crisp exec comms.
Working knowledge of Bitcoin/Lightning and privacy-respecting product principles.
Willing to travel internationally to unlock partners and support launches.
