Our collaborative custody vaults make it easy to set up and manage multisig bitcoin storage, while providing a foundation to financial services for the long-term bitcoin holder, including trading, loans, and retirement accounts. We guide our clients through their bitcoin journey, equipping them with the knowledge, reassurance, and tools they need to secure their financial futures in ways that a traditional financial services institution cannot.

Job Overview

The Head of Sales guides sales strategy and execution, represents the voice of the client and sales teams in product development and cross-functional initiatives. This individual leads business development efforts to strategically grow Unchained’s client base, in partnership with Marketing and Product.

Background

  • Bitcoin; understanding of our market and clientele
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Relationship management across one or more financial services products
  • Crossover experience with a FinTech or B2B software company a plus
  • Has some existing network within our industry

Experience in the role

  • Overseeing large accounts
  • Experience selling to individuals, especially HNWIs
  • Outbound sales program, e.g. businesses, family offices, HNWIs
  • Inbound sales experience fielding leads from Marketing and other channels
  • Business development experience securing partnerships with key suppliers and distribution channels
  • Sales operations experience with automations, workflows, and process
  • Managing and constructing sales teams, overseeing compensation plans, role and organizational development

Responsibilities

Oversee sales and account management processes

  • Territories/geographies and market focus

Sales strategy and planning, in partnership with the Client Solutions and Concierge teams, optimizing for growing Unchained’s client base

  • Lead customer acquisition strategy and processes
  • Define client and sales qualified leads
  • Develop key client relationships
  • Shepherd key client relationships through funnel
  • Work closely with team and clients on high priority / VIP client issues
  • Defining and managing key sales metrics across the sales funnel and Client Solutions team members

Product stakeholder and strategic input provider to product priorities and roadmap

Communicate client feedback to product team to inform product improvements and strategy

Travel to conferences, events, and meetings; network with members of the bitcoin, family office, and local community to evangelize Unchained’s products and services

Coordinate with executive team to further develop go-to-market plan, including strategy, resourcing, tactics, and metrics

Engage in business development efforts to find new opportunities and partnerships for Unchained
